Before focusing his professional career in sports law, Francis consolidated his legal experience at a renowned firm in Geneva, where he provided legal advice in various areas of civil and commercial law. His work mainly included drafting briefs and contracts, as well as representing clients in contentious and non-contentious matters. Francis is specialized in labour law.

Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2022, he previously obtained a bilingual Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Fribourg and a Master of Law from the University of Zurich. Francis also holds an LL.M. in business law from the University of Berkeley in the United States.
